What do Grassfed Cattle Eat During Winter?

This is a common question that our customers and those seeking to find a source for 100% Grassfed and Grass-finished Beef have asked us many times over the years.

So, I thought I'd take a few minutes to answer that question for how Seven Sons Farm keeps our cattle happy and fed when it's cold outside.

Watch this short video:

I bet you knew about the hay, but maybe the term "Stockpile Grazing" and how that's good for the cattle, soil health and the environment was a new concept for you.

I certainly hope you learned something and gained some confidence about the foods we serve and ship nationwide!

We know many families are starting to value more transparency in how their food is raised, so we welcome you to visit the farm anytime, meet us and see for yourself.

The best time of year to visit is during our Farm Wagon Ride Season.

Let me know of any questions below in the comments section.

Before diving into the updates, let me first explain the gravity of the challenges that small-scale pastured poultry farmers are up against.
